You may, for example, want to play a video in the background on your web page. First of all, you need to activate the direct linking feature by going to Account Settings and then General. Tick the checkbox for the “Activate direct links for video files” option.
With this feature enabled, you will now find direct links to each resolution and the original file of your video. You can find these direct links in the video library under the current video and the “Advanced” tab. Choose an appropriate resolution for your application. For example, for a background video for a web page, 720p may be appropriate. The lowest resolution available is sufficient if you want to use the video in a subtitling tool.
