Control the player with keyboard

As part of making Streamio one of the most accessible Online Video Platforms, we offer all users the ability to control their video player using their keyboard.

Below is a list of keys and the function controlled by the key.

Tab : Go to the next control

Shift + Tab : Go back to previous control

Space : Play or pause

f : Start full screen mode / exit full screen mode

m : Mute / un-mute

c : Switch between subtitles when available

Escape : Exit full screen at full screen mode, otherwise close open menu

Enter : Enable / open or interact with control in focus.

left arrow : jump back 5 seconds

right arrow : skip ahead 5 seconds

Arrow up : Turn up volume 10%

Arrow down : Lower volume 10%

0 : Jump to 0% of the played content (I.E. the begining of the video)

1 : Jump to 10% of the played content

2 : Jump to 20% of the played content

3 : Jump to 30% of the played content

4 : Jump to 40% of the played content

5 : Jump to 50% of the played content

6 : Jump to 60% of the played content

7 : Jump to 70% of the played content

8 : Jump to 80% of the played content

9 : Jump to 90% of the played content
