We’ve added a new option that gives individual users more control over their account security. You can now enable two-factor authentication directly from your user profile settings.

How it works
Click the dropdown on your profile to find the two-factor authentication settings. When you enable it, you’ll be asked to enter a code each time you sign in to your account, in addition to your password. By default, the code is sent to your email. You can also use an authentication app such as Google Authenticator by enabling it on the two-factor authentication settings page.
What’s different
Previously, administrators could enable two-factor authentication at the account level for all users. Now, each user can decide whether to enable it for their own account. This provides the flexibility to add an extra layer of protection based on your needs. Please note that if the Streamio account is set to require two-factor authentication by an admin, it cannot be disabled by individual users.
Once enabled, you’ll need that login code to access your account, so keep your email accessible or have your authenticator app ready.
This feature is now available to all Streamio users.
